I could see this bill shaping up america and its smoking habits. For the longest time ive always heard of people trying to fight the use of tobacco and all that but this shows that the people with the most power can do the most help to this cause, which is the congress. This tells me that problems like this should be dealt with by a higher power so that there is a guarantee solution.

I think that these new bans they want to put on tobacco industries are good. Even though they would be "violating the first amendment" with the advertising rule within 1,000 feet of schools, I think they should because Tobacco companies do not need to be selling to little kids and in a way aren’t tobacco companies violating everyone’s right to life? I think that these companies are hypocrites and need to have bans on their companies.
I think this is awsome. This will help american so much on their smoking habits and all the health care issues. I think that this will help the prevention of little kids and teenagers from being exposed to tobacco at an early age. Which would help decrease the amount of kids from smoking at an early age. I think that passing this bill will help americans realize that smoking isnt a cool thing to do anymore , it kills you not look cool or awsome or sophisticated . the tobacco companies dont care that it kills people all they care about is getting thier paycheck from the people that are spending thousands of dollars on cigarettes. All the people in my family that have died are from smoking and the tabacco . so this bill is very cool to have been passed .
I think that this could be good for our country because less kids would be exposed to tobacco. this is going against the first amendment though because they are changing the advertising. if this happened i think less kids would be smoking. i also think that the tabaco companies dont really care about the consumers but they care more about there money.

The article was interesting and I'm glad the bill will be passed.
The FDA cleaning out the tobacco products of harmful chemicals and the advertising rule is something we should always had
and although technically is goes against the first amendment I think its alright for a few laws to slide if they will make the country a safer cleaner place to live.
