I just think the Guantanamo is wrong and that it's wrong to hold people i there for so long and killing them. Even if the prisoners to wrong things, no one deserves to be treated that way or be killed like that, even if it's the worse crime. But a person in charge of this that seems like he's killing people and that he's involve in some of the terrorist act, should not be let loose like that for a long time cause you might not know what he's going to do next. He should've been capture already is he was suspicious for those things and find evidence to put him behind bars so he doesn't do any more damage. Obama is using power of president for the right reasons. and even thought some people might think differently, his plan for this seems secure enough, and i think it would've been better if Ghailani was in jail too.

In some ways I think Guantanamo is not a good idea but is some ways I think it is a good idea. The fact of what they do to prisoners there is not such a great idea to me because everyone has the right of life and killing people in Guantanamo or anywhere is against the 1st amendment I believe under no circumstances should someone be killed for there actions. What does that solve? However, I do agree on Guantanamo in general. I think it is a good place to hold prisoners

I think that Guantanamo Bay is right to an extent. They are holding people for a reason and that is because they are suspected of being a part of the terrorist group that attacked our country. On the other hand, I think that the actions of the officials of Guantanamo are right becuase it is allowing the inmates their constitutional right of habeus corpus. This right means that they have a right to present their case to a judge and argue their innocence.

I think that Guantanamo Bay should stay open and that they are doing a great thing for our country. By having it we are completely avoiding constitutional rights for terrorists, which is similar to how the completely avoid any concern for an Americans life and will go to very great extents to kill us. If you are protesting Guantanamo Bay you are protesting against America.

I guess i'd have to say i agree with megan on this, it is definitly a good thing that Guantanamo Bay is open, i beelieve that they dont really have the right to present their case or anything, but i think that they should defintly keep it open and keep it the way it is.

I think that the inmates from Guantanamo Bay do deserve atleast the right to present their case in front of a judge because not all of inmates are guilty of crimes and terrorism and the innocent shouldn't suffer the cruel and unusual acts that were brought upon by the detainers at Guantanamo.

Treat people the way you want to be treated. If you disrespect America by killing innocent people then you deserve to be treated cruely. So yes, I do believe in Guantanamo Bay because we need to show that we have full control of what goes on in America.

Though it may not be the most politically correct facility, I do approve of the methods practiced at Guantanamo bay and the facility itself. I feel like it is a reminder to citizens of other countries that if you do something bad enough to us there will be repercussions. As for the level of crime that a person must commit before being sent to Guantanamo bay, I think that it should only be for the very high risk inmates that have committed extreme crimes. In my opinion whatever needs to be done to keep our country in a moderate level of control should be done.

I have already done 3 other reactions about Guantanamo Bay but I think that only the people who have enough probable evidence should be punished because there are a lot of people imprisoned therre that have been wrongly accused of being terrorists. Terrorism is a horrible act so it is very important that they get the facts straight about who did what and whoever is responsible may suffer the consequences, no matter how harsh.

i somewhat agree with what there doing in guatomala bay. i think it is good to have a punishment like this because it will make terroist or and criminal think more of what could happen if they do something bad. i think that it should be only for people who commited really bad crimes though. they should make sure the facts are straight. guatomala bay being open i think is good for our country.
