I agree with Obama's point being that Guantanamo prison was a "misguided experiment". Obama understands that it is pointless and causes more harm to our country but Cheney and the Bush administration strongly disagree by using the acts of 9/11 as an excuse to keep the system running. I believe that there are more ways to gain information than using cruel and unusual acts, there always has been. Obama is just taking a different route towards solving this crisis.

How GITMO can be refered to as a "misguided experiment" i fail to understand. Regardless, the acts committed against humanity by U.S personel at GITMO are inexcusible and violate measures put forth by the Geneva convention. As an American citizen it disappoints me to see politicians that we the people elect to lead our nation continually refer to the past as reasons for a greater obsenity to continue. GITMO is inhumane and should be closed yesterday.

I think that the Guantanamo prison is a fantastic idea which dodges any constituional rights. If we did not have such a place where human rights dont matter and torture is normal we might not have as much information as we do. I personally do not care what happens to the people in there and never will. As long as it helps America in the slightest then I'm all for it.

I think that the Guatanamo prison is a good thing. i do not feel bad for the people that go to this prison because they had to do something bad to het there in the first place. i also think that the prison is helping our country because these criminals are not doing cries since there in prison.
