In Defiance, North Korea Is Said to Test More Missiles - NYTimes.com

As if we didn't already have enough foreign policy headaches, North Korea seems to have tested another nuclear device on Monday. How will President Obama and other heads of state respond? North Korea has been openly breaking the nuclear non-proliferation treaty for almost a decade now, and there aren't too many easy options. Some info here:

I think that if we continue to do nothing it is a sign that we will not enforce any rules. If North Korea has openly breaking the nuclear non-proliferation treaty for almost a decade now they will probably not stop until someone stops them. This is besides the point that they might be testing nuclear weapons in preparation to use them.

I agree with connor that by doing nothing, the world is basically giving North Korea the green light to disobey the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, The world can not allow North Korea to bully them and say "if you search our ships it's war", thats just ridiculous. These recent events have me wondering if we are facing another war, one with nuclear applications. it has me considering a quote from einstein,"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones", i sincerly hope the governments of the world has a peaceful solution to the growing North Korean threat. And i hope North Korea will get on the happy Train and start promoting world peace and all that good stuff.

i agree, if nothing is going to be done i think they will just keep breaking the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. i almost think this is sparking another war if the U.S tries to do something about this. The U.S should do something about this before it gets to out of hand. It is not right to break a treaty

i think that it is bad that were not doing anything about this. i do not think North Korea will stop either because no one is stopping them. i hope someone solves this by thinking of a plan. it does not seem right for them to break the non-proliferation treaty. i think that no one wants to do anything because they dont want to have a chance of starting a war.
