Obama announces plan for Afghanistan

Obama's team had been conducting a review of our policy in Afghanistan for the past weeks and months. The President finally announced his policy this week.

I have a rather mixed opinion of his policy, but for now at least, I'd like to hear your opinions and thoughts - so let me hear them.

I think that Obama has alot of pressure on him to do the right thing for all the topics he has to "rescue". The war in Afganistan is a BIG one. I think that his disecion to provide aid to pakistan is not the best idea because we in the us need the money but I think that Obama has good motives behind what he wants to do and what his plan is. I also think that him sending over 100,000more troops to war is not what everyone wants to hear but i trust that Obama is doing it for the best and saying that we cant pull out of afgan just yet. They still need our help.

I believe that this new strategy proposed by President Obama is a good sign of at least one politician willing to do what he promised during his campaign. It is true that the price for the fulfillment of his plan is high given the current economic status but as the saying goes, everything gets worse before it gets better. On the subject of the troop deployments, that may also be good news considering that the soilders are the primary source of income of their family. Them being deployed during wartime means hazard pay or some kinda bonues i think and that in turn promotes a better economy.

I think that Obama is a great leader because when he says hes going to do something he does it. the price for his plan is very expensive though. i think that theres a lot of pressure on him because of this economic time. i think that the soldiers makes the economy a little bit better. i think overall this is a good decision.
